<p>OCTACHRON is a versatile iPad MIDI sequencer that offers up to 16 tracks and a wide range of modulation and sequencing capabilities. While it is primarily optimized for drums, it also provides an enjoyable experience for creating basic melody lines. The app can be used as a standalone tool or as an AUv3 MIDI plugin within popular iPad DAWs such as AUM, Logic Pro, Cubasis, Beatmaker, ApeMatrix, and Nanostudio (excluding GarageBand).</p>

<p>OCTACHRON excels in its specialization of in-depth MIDI sequencing. It allows the user to control their favorite iPad drums instruments like Blip Box, Ruismaker, or MV08, as well as synths such as Zeeon or Model D. The app can also be used to control any other MIDI instrument, whether hardware or software-based. Please note that iOS 12 or a later version is required for compatibility. If using OCTACHRON with a host software, ensure that it supports the MIDI AudioUnit standard.</p>

<p>OCTACHRON provides numerous mapping presets specifically tailored for various drum apps and hardware including AR-909, Axxon 2 & Blip Box, Dadamachines Automat, Digistix & DM1/DM2/Drumlab, DrumComputer by Sugar Bytes, EGDR 606, 808 & 909, FAC Drumkit, Hammerhead & Koala Sampler, MV08 & NS2 Slate, Pure Acid Drums, Ruismaker & Ruismaker FM, SDS-X, Sitala & Splat-To-Clat, VADrumSM, VADrum2 808 & 909, Vanator, Korg Electribe EMX & ER-1, Korg Volca Beats, MFB 522, Roland MC-101, Roland TR-08, Roland TR-707 & 727, Roland TR-808, Roland TR-909, and many more.</p>

<p>The app also features a smart randomizer that allows for intelligent pattern randomization. Users can configure the randomization settings per track and even mutate internal and CC modulation parameters. The parameter lock functionality allows for precise control over velocity, MIDI CC modulation, trigger probability, trigger condition, and MIDI CC on every step. Users can also customize MIDI note assignments for each track or use mapping presets. Individual track lengths can be set to create polyrhythms.</p>

<p>The app respects users' privacy by operating offline without any push notifications, ads, in-app purchases, or tracking tools. OCTACHRON is continually being developed and offers ongoing support and social media activity. Exciting new features are regularly added to the app's roadmap.</p>
